Do these replace the gel electrodes?
No, but they offer an alternative user experience for clinicians seeing a high volume of daily patients who need longer-lasting electrodes. These gold-plated contacts are designed as a reusable alternative to the Activator Gels.
Do I still need to use conductive gel?
Yes. These contacts require a thin layer of conductive gel before each session to ensure optimal signal transfer and comfort. We recommend pairing them with Hoolest Soothing Hydration Gel for best results.
How long do they last?
With proper care and sanitation, each pair can last hundreds of sessions. They're ideal for clinical settings or daily use environments where disposables would quickly become cost-prohibitive.
Can I use them on multiple clients?
Absolutely. They're designed for professional use and can be easily wiped clean and disinfected between sessions. Always follow standard sanitization protocols.
