The most common cause of weak sessions is old gels that have lost conductivity. Try a fresh pair first. If your device works with new gels, the old pair was simply past its lifespan.

Keep your jars sealed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Properly stored, unopened gels stay fresh for up to 2 years. Stocking up on the Annual Plan won't leave you with a jar gone bad.
